“It was very invigorating to see such a well organised race by the Cuttack Cyclists group. This will ensure that more people from the Silver City take up cycling to stay fit and healthy”, said IPS Mr. Sajeeb Panda, an avid cyclist himself.
Rohit Hembrom, from Rourkela won the race, followed by Swasti Singh, from Rourkela as well, who proved that girls are no less capable than boys.
“We got a fantastic response from cyclists across the state for our debut race and we’ll make sure that the following editions of the race are longer, more challenging, and even more fun!”, said Mr. Sajal Seth, admin of Cuttack Cyclists group.
Prize money and certificates were awarded to every participant and refreshments were served as well. “It gives me immense pleasure to see how cycling has become an integral part of many people from the twin city who are not only riding regularly but also organising such wonderful events.
