Report Kahnu Nanda, JAGATSINGHPUR: To educated rural villagers and gullible depositors, a financial literacy workshop was held in Tirtol on Thursday. Tirol block chairperson Sujata Mohanty inaugurated this one-day camp, accompanied by block development officer Atala Bihari Swain, Postal department superintendent Gajendra Prasad Kar, Kujanga postal inspector Rajani Kanta Barik, LDM Santosh Kumar Patra, district small saving officer Ranjan Das. Speakers addressing the workshop urged depositors to invest and deposit their sum in registered financial institutions which have been recognized by RBI and government for availing future security and safety.
