Bhubaneswar: SC denudes Orissa High Court Bar Association from taking any action against lawyer (Sibashankar Mishra) representing the HC in apex court. SC issues notice to Odisha Bar Council Chairman, HC Bar Association president to appear before it and explain their conduct.
Apex court bench observes not to deploy central forces in the High Court & also asks Orissa HC counsel to submit an affidavit stating number of working days lost due to strikes of lawyers in High Court and District Courts in 2018 and 2019. Next date of hearing Nov 8.
