Report by Badal Tah; Rayagada: Based on a complain, a person named Bhima Gantha, son of late Hasta Gantha of village Khedapada under Chandili police station was arrested by Bissam Cuttack police vide case no-99 on 23rd October u/s-419/385/353/354 IPC.
Bissam Cuttack police registered a case of impersonation, cheating and extortion against the accused Bhima, who came to Sansartheli village school, posed as District Project Coordinator (DPC) before Teacher Ranjita Ulaka and threatened demanding a bribe of ₹.6000.00 as if Ranjita had violated prescribed guidelines.
As the teacher knew that the present DPC was Ms Anaesthesia Kerketta, she raised an objection and pointed out to Bhima as fake. Based on the complain of a villager from Sanasartheli, Bissam Cuttack police has arrested the accused Bhima, who will be forwarded to court.
