Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan directed officials to increase number of Corona Testing Labs

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all the Collectors should work with full vigilance to end the Corona crisis from the state as quickly as possible.To prevent infection, the boundaries of the districts should be sealed and movement in hotspot areas should be completely closed. Supply of medicines, milk, vegetables, fruits, groceries etc. to the public should be ensured through district administration. The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in all the districts of the state through video conferencing today. All the concerned senior officials including Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and Director Public Relations Shri O.P. Shrivastava were present.

Increase number of testing labs

The Chief Minister directed that the number of Corona Testing Labs should be increased. Currently 7 labs are working. For this, testing should be started in all medical colleges. Ensure testing facility in private medical colleges too.

22 districts affected by Corona

Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mohammad Suleman said that 22 districts of the state have been affected by Corona. One Corona infected patient has been found in the newly infected districts of Ratlam and 1 in Mandsaur.

Try not to spread the infection

One positive case each of Corona has been found in Ratlam and Mandsaur districts. Both have already been placed in quarantine. The Chief Minister directed the collectors to seal the infected areas immediately, complete contract tracing and take all necessary steps so that the infection does not spread.

Ensure regular supply of medicines, milk, fruits, vegetables and grocery

The Chief Minister directed the collectors to ensure continuous supply of medicines, milk, fruits, vegetables and groceries in the state. He told them to seek cooperation of voluntary organizations and public representatives in this work. Fruits and vegetables should be purchased from the farmers after decentralizing big mandis and administration should make proper arrangement in this regard.

Pay special attention to Indore

The Chief Minister said that the team of Indore is working day and night, but I am more worried due to maximum number of cases there. The administration should ensure the best treatment there, hot spots should be strictly sealed and intensive health testing should be done. ACS Health directed that oxygen should be available on every bed for treatment.

Take the support of small shopkeepers as well

The Chief Minister directed that cooperation of small shopkeepers should also be taken to supply essential items from house to house. Collector Bhopal informed that Bhopal has been divided into 16 zones. Maximum Corona testing is being done. 271 vehicles are supplying essential goods here.

Condition of Ujjain is improving

Collector Ujjain informed that out of 16 cases of Ujjain, 3 have been discharged, 2 patients will be discharged soon. There are no case positives since the last april 7th. On this, the Chief Minister said that my concern about Ujjain has decreased a bit, but the collectors should continue to be strict and work actively so that the cases do not escalate.

7 cases of Morena test negative

Collector Morena informed that out of 14 cases of the district, the first test of 7 has come negative, after the second test they will be discharged. The remaining 7 are in good condition.

Doorstep service of banks through BC

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that the beneficiaries should not face any difficulty in withdrawing the amount of various schemes deposited in their bank accounts, as far as possible doorstep service should be provided to them. The banks have been instructed in this regard.The Collector Dewas has informed thatthrough 450 Bank Correspondence (BC), the money transferred in the beneficiary accounts under various schemes of the Central and State Government is being distributed to them at their doorsteps. The Chief Minister directed that Collectors should make such arrangements in other districts too.

CM congratulates Shivpuri

Both the Corona patients have been found negative in Shivpuri district. The Chief Minister congratulated the Collector for this and directed to keep full vigilance in future too.

Arogya Setu mobile app extremely useful

The Chief Minister said that the Arogya Setu mobile app is extremely useful for understanding corona disease, its prevention besides preventing infection and monitoring of work, etc. All collectors should encourage people to use Arogya Setu mobile app in their districts.

Private hospitals cannot refuse for treatment

Shri Chouhan said that the ESMA Act has been enforced in the state. Now, the private hospitals also cannot refuse to render services to the people. Collectors should take their services in their districts. At the same time, the health services for the treatment of all diseases will be continued in the Government Hospital as before.

Restrict black-marketing and hoarding

The Chief Minister said that at present the state is going through adverse situation. In such a case, if a trader involves in hoarding or black-marketing, it is a great crime against humanity. Therefore, all Collectors make sure that there is no black marketing and hoarding in their district.

Set up maximum Procurement Centers, Farmers should come only after receiving SMS

The Chief Minister directed that maximum procurement centers should be set up in the districts. The norms of social distancing should be followed and there should be no overcrowding during the procurement. A clear message should be given to the farmers that they should come to sell their produce only after getting the SMS. The Chief Minister was informed that such arrangements are being made that on an average 10 farmers come to sell crops in a day. For this, SMS as regard to the date and time will be sent to the farmers. This time procurement will be made in two rounds. They will come to the procurement centers at the fixed time. In the remaining districts except Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain, procurement will start from April 15.

Rs. 50 lakh security covers for Corona warriors

The Chief Minister said that the government will provide Rs. 50 lakh assistance to the victim’s family, in case of any untoward incident with the team engaged in Corona work.

Install CCTV Cameras in quarantine centers

The Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mohammad Suleman directed that CCTV cameras should be installed in all Quarantine Centers, so that the monitoring of people kept there could also be done from the state-level control room.

Nobody starve in district

The Chief Minister instructed that every Collector should ensure that nobody starves in their districts. Food grains and food have been arranged in sufficient quantity for each poor person by the Government.

Arrangement for purchase of Minor Forest produce

The Chief Minister directed that arrangements should be made for the purchase of minor forest produce like Mahua, Chironji, Karanja, Nimboli etc. through the Minor Forest Produce Federation. In the coming days, the Tendupatta collection will be undertaken. For this, necessary facilities should be ensured for the tribals.

FIR against people for hiding Corona infection

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed all the Collectors to file an FIR against such persons in their districts, which hide corona disease. After the healath recovery of those patients, action should be taken against them.
