New Delhi: The death toll in the United States of America due to coronavirus COVID-19 jumped to over 20,000, which is more than any other country in the world, according to a tally from Johns Hopkins University.
As per John Hopkins University, the US death toll on Saturday climbed to 20,608 at 10:30 AM IST on Sunday. It is to be noted that Italy has reported 19,468 deaths so far.
On Friday, the US had reported at least 2,074 deaths, the largest increase in coronavirus deaths in the country since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. According to Johns Hopkins, at least 529,951 people have tested positive for the virus so far.
