Bhubaneswar: Kala Bhoomi, Odisha Crafts Museum in collaboration with the National Museum,New Delhi presents a special exhibition from the National Museum Collection. The Exhibition titled ‘The Saga of Majestic Life in Miniature Painting’ attempts to throw light on the daily life of the Indian
aristocracy and their contribution to safeguard Indian art and culture, beautifully illustrated in miniature paintings. The art work is divided into five categories which include portraits, scenes of daily life, festivals and other religious beliefs along with pictures related to various art forms developed in the court of these dynasties.
The exhibition hopes to introduce the art of miniature painting and the various styles attached to the art form, one of which is the Orissa School of Miniature painting. The exhibition is to be inaugurated at 3.30 PM on Tuesday i.e. 24th December, 2019 at Kala Bhoomi. The special exhibition will be opened to the public at no extra cost from 3.30 PM onwards.
