Report by Dhiramohan Ray,Talcher: 34th Law day was observed by Talcher Bar Association at civil court premises. on this auspicious occasion Pratap Jena,minister of health, family welfare and Law joined as chief guest. In his speech he described that state government have decided to open JMFC courts in 314 blocks of the state. From that 200 JMFC courts have already opened. There is a much necessity to Law University and Law academy in Odisha through which the common people can able to claim their legitimate rights. Shri Jena praises the Talcher Bar for their rare activities to observe this law day at Talcher. Justice J.P.Das from Odisha High Court joined as chief speaker and said bench and bar are the two sides of the coin that needs good relation between them. People have top confidence on judiciary system of our country. Lawyers and advocates need to cooperate how the common people get first judgment in their cases. District judge,Angul, Sanjay Keshari Sawin was on dais as guest of honour and discussed about the necessity and history of constitution and its application in judiciary systems of our country. Talcher MLA, Brajakishore Pradhan joined as guest of honour and request all judges and advocates to take necessary majors for giving immediate judgment to the people as a whole. Senior advocate Aruna Sankar Mishra keeps his valuable speech on celebration of law day. President of Talcher Bar Association presided over meeting whereas general secretary Naresh Naik read out the annual report and narrates the various problems of the bar before the present dignitaries. Vice president Binay Kumar Nanda give the vote of thanks. A souvenir was unveiled by the guests and many senior advocates were felicitated by the association. A drama named ‘Sakalara Apekhyare’was staged by the members of the bar.
