Kashipur: Agragamee, Kashipur, organise a two day sharing workshop with Government Functionaries and School Management Committee Members In Rayagada District on Creative Language Development Efforts for primary school children implemented by Agragamee on 25th and 26th November in 18 schools of Rayagada, Koraput and Nawarangpur district at Agragamee Training Centre, Kashipur.
During the workshops, discuss on problems of education in Tribal Areas, How problems can be addressed, Presentation on Reading and Creative Language Development Effort implemented by Agragamee , presentation of some model of teaching method by teachers of Agragamee during the two day sessions.In the inaugural session, Mr. Bhogaban Gouda, Block Development Officer, Kashipur stressed to give independence to teacher to teach in selecting themes and language in regional basis. Mr. Purna Chandra Patnaik, shared that language learning is the vital part of learning in the primary level and also he praised the attempt made by Agragamee for the development of education of girls children. In the second day, attending as guest of honour, Mrs. Anasthesia Karketa, Addl. District Education Officer, Rayagada spoke that the School Management Committee is the most powerful committee to run the school.
So there is need to create more awareness and active participation of School Management Committee for development of education in tribal area. Mr. Achyut Das, Director Agragamee coordinating the workshop shared that Agragamee has working with 18 schools of Rayagada, Koraput, Nawaranpur districts on which Agragamee provides 18 teachers to practice Creative Language Development Effort .
The result has quite outstanding. He shared if the government mechinaries interest to practice the same,Agragamme will provide training support and will also provide primer and primary level reading. Mrs. Vidhya Das, joint Director, Agragamee present about Agragamee history on Education and also present on Creative Language Development Efforts. Teachers of Mukta Gyana Kutir and Sikshasathis also present about demo classes during the workshop which was praised by the participants and experts. Mrs. Sumani Jhodia,social activists and tribal leaders, ABEOs, CRCC, headmasters and school teachers of 20 schools, SMC president and members, PRI members, volunteers, participated in the two day sharing workshop.
