Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government dissolved the State Planning Board on Tuesday, which was established by the previous BJD government. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi sanctioned the proposal to disband this planning entity.
Although the Chief Minister presides over the apex planning body, the former BJD government had appointed senior party leaders as its deputy chairman and members, none of whom have convened in many years.
