Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, the vaccination campaign started simultaneously at all the districts in an atmosphere of enthusiasm. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, after visiting Maa Pitambara in Datia district, launched the vaccination campaign at village Parasari and appealed to the general public to get the vaccine. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also administered the oath by motivating the general public for the vaccine. The vaccination campaign got immense success following the continuous efforts of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and the people-participation model of the state. On the first day of the campaign, more success was achieved than the target of vaccination. A unique example was set in the country as more than 15 lakh people were administered the vaccine. This is about 20 percent of the total vaccination done in the country today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that due to the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his decision to give free vaccines to the states, the vaccination campaign has been successful. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also became a motivator
While launching the vaccination campaign at village Parasari in Datia district, Annanagar in Bhopal and Piplani village in Sehore district, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that this campaign has been launched to fully protect the people of the state from corona infection. He said that the vaccine is a panacea to defeat the global pandemic Covid-19 and keep everyone safe. All sections of the society have been linked to this great campaign to ensure that all people get the vaccine. The figures of vaccination that are coming out with everyone’s efforts are quite encouraging. Behind its success is the cooperation of all sections, who ensured participation in the mega campaign by becoming a motivator.
Corona is not gone yet, be careful
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Corona has not gone yet, so stay alert and cautious. Corona crisis has shaken the whole world. Our priority is to conquer Corona. Corona keeps changing its form. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we have lost our loved ones during the Corona period, so it should be our endeavour that such time does not come again. Everyone should be protected from corona infection by getting the vaccine.
Festive atmosphere at vaccination centres
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a target was set to vaccinate 10 lakh people in the vaccination mega campaign. To achieve the target, 7000 vaccination centres have been set up in 52 districts of the state. A festive atmosphere was created at all the centers and the people who came to get the vaccine were also welcomed by applying tilak. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that everyone came forward with self-motivation for the protection of human life and ensured their participation in the Maha Abhiyan. The Chief Minister also thanked the heads of various social organisations including public representatives, religious leaders, litterateurs, intellectuals and dignitaries, whose efforts gave impetus to the vaccination work.
Welcomed and administered pledge
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan also administered the oath to the people who came to the Vaccine Center to be motivator in the vaccination campaign. Along with this, child motivators, who played an active role in the campaign, were also honoured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the vaccination campaign will continue for now, all such people who have taken the protection cover of vaccine today become inspiration for vaccination in their respective areas. Our goal is to make the state corona free by vaccinating all the people of the state within the stipulated period.
Special arrangements for the elderly and handicapped
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that suitable arrangements have been made at all centers to provide vaccine to the target group in the vaccination campaign. Along with this, arrangements were also made by the local administration for transportation by vehicles to and from the center, especially for the elderly and Divyangs. With the cooperation from the administration, the elderly and differently-abled people, being aware of vaccination, have got the vaccine to prevent corona infection. In many areas, the elderly and differently-abled people played the role of motivator and also inspired people to get the vaccine. The participation of different sections of the society has been important in the positive atmosphere created in the vaccination campaign in the entire state.
Vaccination numbers kept doubling every hour
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that due to the enthusiasm shown by all the people towards the vaccination campaign, the vaccination report kept doubling every hour. 60 thousand till 10 am, one lakh 75 thousand till 11 am, 3 lakh 37 thousand till 12 noon, 5 lakh 21 thousand at 1 pm, 7 lakh 10 thousand at 2 pm, 8 lakh at 3 pm and 12 lakh 12 thousand people got the vaccine at 5 pm. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that these vaccination figures are proving that the people of the state are ready to fight against the third wave of corona.
Motivator at each centre
To make the vaccination campaign a success, a motivator was appointed at each vaccine centre with suitable arrangements at the centres. The members of the Council of Ministers including the Chief Minister himself, MPs, MLAs, public representatives of urban and rural areas, religious leaders including members of the Crisis Management Group, social workers and enlightened citizens of different sections played the role of motivator.
Celebrities extended their cooperation
On the call of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, celebrities from different areas of the state also participated enthusiastically in the vaccination campaign. In this, sports, literature, art, music, education, poets, actors and gurus of various religions, including Nobel laureate Shri Kailash Satyarthi, also issued an appeal on social media for vaccination. Also played the role of motivator at vaccination centers.

Media representatives also played an active role in spreading the message of the vaccination campaign to the masses and making people aware of the vaccine.
Support of Crisis Management Committees
Members of district, block and village and ward level Crisis Management Committees formed in the state to prevent the second wave of corona infection also played an active role in the campaign. The members of the committee, while doing public awareness work in urban and rural areas also performed the role of motivator at the vaccination centers.
Great enthusiasm seen in public
There was great enthusiasm among the public in the vaccination campaign. People participated with great enthusiasm in getting the corona vaccine at all the vaccination centres. After getting the vaccine, they themselves started motivating people by becoming a motivator.
Campaign will continue
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a vaccination campaign has been launched to save the people of the state from the third wave of corona. The arrangements made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for free vaccination will not only save Madhya Pradesh but the entire nation from corona infection. The vaccination campaign will continue even after June 21. Vaccination Centre will be shifted to other locations from the places where vaccination is completed. More than one lakh registered Corona Volunteers will play an active role in the campaign to create public awareness about Corona. A three-day vaccination campaign will run again on July 1. In this, ‘awareness yatras’ will be taken out to motivate the common man.
