Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that now we neither have to let our loved ones get separated from their loved ones, nor should work suffer. The most effective way of protection against Corona is to get vaccinated. If the vaccine is administered, then the markets will also remain open and economic activities will also continue. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that people and scientists all over the world are anticipating the third wave of Corona and to stop this wave, the vaccination campaign has been started on a call by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was interacting with residents of Anna Nagar area of Bhopal today as motivator of the vaccination campaign. A target of more than 10 lakh vaccinations in a day at 7 thousand centers simultaneously has been set in the state under the world’s biggest free vaccination campaign. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan contacted the people of Anna Nagar area in this campaign. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated the programme by garlanding the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and lighting the lamp. Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang and MP Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma were also present on the occasion. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also took the resolve to make the vaccination campaign a success.

Sharing the heart-wrenching pain of the second wave of Corona, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that only vaccine can save us from the third wave of Corona. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the government’s concern is to improve the lives of its citizens and prevent bad times like lockdown. Therefore, all citizens above 18 years of age should get the vaccinated under any circumstances. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for providing free vaccine to all.
Rangoli and hand written banners create environment for vaccination
When Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reached Anna Nagar, local resident Sushri Ayesha welcomed Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with flowers. Rangolis were made at various places on the road by the residents to welcome him. Apart from welcoming, the Rangoli were depicting messages for vaccination and prevention from Corona. An atmosphere was created in the area with small hand-written rangoli and handwritten banners that said ‘Oh Corona Kabhi Mat Aana’, ‘Jo Parivar Se Kare Pyaar, Wo Vaccine se Kaise Kare Inkar’.
Vaccine is like a helmet for Corona – definitely get it administered
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan personally met many elderly persons and youngsters including Ashwini Yadav, Priyanka Singh, Rahul of Anna Nagar and visited shops and houses while talking to the general public and motivating them for vaccination. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan explained saying that ‘Vaccine is like a helmet for Corona – definitely get it administered’. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan thanked people in the area who said that they had been vaccinated.
Don’t panic about vaccine and don’t pay attention to rumours
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with the people while standing on stage during the mass contact programme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we will not allow the dreadful days of Corona to come back. Shops, business, economic activities will not be closed again in the state. There is a fear of the third wave of Corona all over the world. Its effect can be seen in some places. Vaccination is the Suraksha Chakra of life. This is the dose of life. We will ensure that in the next few days, maximum population of the state will be vaccinated. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also told that some people are likely to have mild symptoms after vaccination like pain in hands and feet. There is no need to panic or get confused or to pay attention to rumours. This vaccine is completely safe, effective and harmless.
People should come forward for testing
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all measures for Corona prevention like wearing of masks, maintaining distance, washing hands frequently will be followed with utmost seriousness in the state. Testing is being increased in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appealed to people to come forward for testing and not avoid it. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Kill Corona campaign will continue on a large scale in the state.
Preparations continue in hospitals for the third wave
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is also making elaborate arrangements in the hospitals to face the third wave of Corona. Essential activities for ICU beds, oxygen beds, ICU wards for children availability of oxygen, supply of medicines and equipments as well as training of paramedical staff are going on across the state.
Resolve taken to get vaccinated and inspire people
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this vaccination campaign is a campaign to save lives and people. With large scale vaccination in the state, opening of colleges, coaching classes, cinema halls etc. can also be considered. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also administered a pledge to the people of Anna Nagar to make the Covid-19 vaccination campaign a success. People took oath to get themselves vaccinated and to motivate people also for the same.
