Bhubaneswar: The Founder’s Day Celebration of Sainik School Bhubaneswar was organized at Biju Patnaik Park of Sainik School Bhubaneswar on 01st Feb 2018.
Lt Gen J K Mohanty graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. On his arrival Capt (IN) Kanchan Mukherjee, Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar extended a warm welcome in the presence of 600 cadets and staff. In his address to the cadets Lt Gen invoked to the cadets that Sainik School cadets are known for their uniqueness and they can make impossible to possible by hard work, determination and dedication.
On this occasion he garlanded the statue of Late Sri Biju Patnaik, the founder of the Sainik School and glorified the celebration by cutting cakes.
Shri M.R Rath, a senior staff member spoke on the contribution of Biju Babu and his association with the Sainik School cadets. The members of Old Boys Association, Air Commodore T K Rath, Capt (IN) S K Pradhan, Maj K K Nayak, Cdr D D Swain and Sri Basab Bhanja witnessed the celebration. Cdr N Santhosh Kumar, Administrative Officer made all necessary arrangements of the celebration and Shri D Golani conducted the programme.
