In a tragic incident, more than 20 individuals lost their lives after consuming spurious liquor in Siwan district, Bihar, with an additional four deaths occurring in Chapra on October 17. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been established, and an FIR has been registered against eight suspects, according to Chapra SP Kumar Ashish. The victims are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals, with one survivor reporting a partial loss of vision.
