Bhubaneswar: Oil major company Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) today at its Bhubaneswar office felicitated Odia finalist of Little Miss Universe beauty pageant, Miss Padmalaya Nanda who is leaving for the contest to be held in Georgia in Europe beginning on May 31 to June 6 representing India.
Miss Padmalaya is among the fifteen finalists of this contest who are going to participate in this prestigious international event.
Extending support to this pride of the state as well as the country, ONGC congratulated this little Miss Padmalaya and has handed over a cheque worth Rs 8 lakhs for her successful journey. ONGC Chief Engineer, Corporate Communication Shri B G Chaurasia, ONGC Odisha Head Shri B N Pradhan and other senior officials were present at this occasion. ONGC’s senior officers expressed their happiness and hope that Miss Padmalaya will definitely get success and bring laurel to the Country and the state as well.
It may be noted here that Miss Padmalaya Nanda with her parents met Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan on May 20th and had requested for financial support.
Miss Padmalaya Nanda also seeks support of Odisha people to help her win the Little Miss Universe title and has requested to vote for her on Facebook starting from June 1 to June 4.
