Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his visit to Ganjam district inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several development projects worth over Rs 109 crores.
The Chief Minister landed at the temporary helipad at 11 am near the Veterinary Office Ground in front of Block Office of Sheragada under his home constituency.Naveen inaugurates, lays foundation stone for several projects in Ganjam
Patnaik, at first, paid floral tribute to Biju Patnaik at Biju Patnaik Chhak there. Then he inaugurated the new ITI set up in Sheragada with an estimated cost of Rs 8 crores.
Similarly, he inaugurated the newly built 100-seated girls’ hostel of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (estimated cost Rs 1.90 crore), Skill Development Centre (estimated cost Rs 1.31 crore), bridge over Nandini Nallah (estimated cost Rs 8.21 crore), new Panchayat Bhawan, Sheragada (estimated cost Rs 25 lakh), street lighting of main road, Sheragada (estimated cost Rs 15 lakh) and H.L. bridge over Rushikulya river in Jhagadal-Jahada road (estimated cost Rs 11 crore).
Later, the Odisha CM distributed assets and benefits to the beneficiaries under various developmental schemes on the dais of ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ at Sheragada.
Besides, Patnaik also instantly approved project proposal amounting Rs 25 lakhs under ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’. Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said, “Execute quality work and complete soon. I’m delighted to meet lots of people here. My Government’s efforts are going on for the development of this region.”
As per protocol, the Chief Minister then headed for Hinjilicut and Chatrapur for dedicating and laying foundation stones of several developmental projects, distributing assets and benefits to the beneficiaries under various developmental schemes and also attending ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ programme there.
The Chief Minister then landed at Hinjilicut’s temporary helipad near Shankar Netralaya and inaugurated a new building of RMC, laid foundation stones of 2×40 MVA 132/33 KV GIS Grid Sub-Station for Hinjilicut and H.L. Bridge over Ghodahada river at Sompur-singipur road.
Patnaik also distributed assets and benefits to the beneficiaries under various developmental schemes. The CM here also instantly approved project proposals under ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ apart from addressing the public.
The Chief Minister then flew to the temporary helipad at Chatrapur stadium, took a break, from the hectic schedule, at the Chatrapur Circuit House.
Later he inaugurated and visited the new Zilla Parishad Bhawan, the new District Panchayat Resources Centre, new Swimming Pool, new building of Regional Transport Office (RTO) and new building of Purushottampur Police Station. Besides, he laid foundation stone of Hygienic Dry Fish Market, Humma.
Prominent among others, the Chief Minister was assisted by his ministerial colleagues Surya Narayan Patro, Usha Devi and Bikram Keshari Arukh, Gopalpur MLA Pradip Kumar Panigrahi, CM’s personal secretary VK Pandian and Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
