Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated and laid foundation for various projects in Balasore district

Balasore: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated and laid foundation for various projects to speed up development in Balasore district. The projects worth ₹150 crore will vastly improve connectivity, drinking water, education standards, health, tourism in the the district.

Projects that were inaugurated and initiated during his visit:

Inauguration

• 100 bedded hoste for tribal students at Fakir Mohan Autonomous College
• Sports Hostel at Balasore District School
• Multipurpose cyclone shelter, Jaleswarpur
• 9 Ananganwadi centres
• Rural piped water supply at Pithapur and Mandarsahi
• 6 roads
• Government Ayurvedic hospital, Gopinathpur
• Government Homeopathic hospital quarters, Purushottampur
• Health sub-centre, Naskarpur
• 2 parks

Foundation:

• Oupada-Markana road
• Biju Setu on Kansabans Nullah
• 2 piped water supply projects
• High-level bridge on Dubdubi Nullah
• 8 road upgradation projects
• Tourism facility at Chandaneswar
• 12 Panchayat office buildings

Chief Minister unveiled a statue of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik and also inaugurated the Talasari Beach Festival. He reiterated commitment to all-round development of Balasore district and furthering welfare of the people.
