Odisha Chief Secretary, 5T Secretary visited Sundargarh district , reviewed the ongoing development projects

Sundergarh: Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, 5T Secretary VK Pandian, National Health Mission Director Shalini Pandit, and CM’s Special Secretary R Vilinkrishna visited Sundargarh district on Saturday and reviewed the ongoing development projects.

They visited the 33/11-KV power grid substation at Kundukela, the Vedabahal Coal Corridor, the Anganwadi Centre at Bhavanipur and Kingirima Government High School and reviewed projects and schemes related to education, women and child development, nutrition, livelihood, connectivity, drinking water, agriculture and irrigation.

The team also visited the NTPC Covid Health Centre in Sundargarh and instructed the district administration to prepare well for a possible third Covid wave and make adequate arrangements, including ICUs for children. It was decided that by October, transformation of 50 Government high schools in the district would be completed.
