Bhubaneswar: Gajapati district’s performance was appreciated by the Niti Aayog and the Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of India.
At a virtual meeting chaired by Collector Gajapati Anupam Saha and attended by Sub-Collector Sangramsekhar Panda, CDMO Dr Pradip Kumar Patra, representative of Niti Ayog Sanjeeb Kumar Chadha, Director Health and Family Welfare Dr Bijay Kumar Panigrahi and State coordinator of UNNFM Dr Deepa Prasad, the activities of the district on health sector was discussed.
LaQshya, an innovation to empower maternity care through upgradation of labour room and operation theatre at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), got wide appreciation.
