Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the experience of the world shows that wearing a mask reduces the risk of corona by up to 95 percent. We quickly forget the pain of lockdown. The lockdown has affected the employment and business of many people. The infection can be controlled by wearing a mask and following the precautions of maintaining distance. With this we can continue the economic activities of employment and business. Now is the opportunity to set an example in following Covid friendly behaviour. Surely “Amazing-Unique Mandsaur” will take initiative in this direction.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was virtually inaugurating the newly constructed RT-PCR lab at Mandsaur from his residence. Finance and Commercial Taxes Minister Jagdish Deora and MLA Garoth-Bhanpura Shri Devi Lal Dhakad also participated in the programme from the Chief Minister’s residence. Mandsaur MLA Shri Yashpal Singh Sisodia was present in the programme.
Lab costing 50 lakhs
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Mandsaur is the first district where RT-PCR labs have been established besides medical college. This lab has been set up at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh with Rs. 35 lakh contributed by MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia from MLA fund and Rs.15 lakh by social worker and industrialist Shri Pradeep Ganediwal. This lab proves the phrase “where there is a will there is a way” as correct. The district hospital has been rejuvenated by setting up of central oxygen line at more than 250 beds, 400 oxygen concentrators, ICU beds along with lab establishment, which shows the service and cooperative spirit of Mandsaur.
Stop the third wave
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that setting up of RT-PCR lab will help in increasing the number of tests. Tests should be conducted in every nook and corner of the district. Contact tracing, isolation of positive people, treatment and kill corona campaign should continue uninterrupted. Lab establishment and expansion of facilities in hospitals are being done to face the third wave of Corona. Our corona appropriate behaviour should be such that the third wave could not affect the state at all.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan praises social workers
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all possible activities would be conducted in Mandsaur for processing, quality improvement and better marketing of garlic in national and international markets under one district-one product. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also appreciated the initiative and cooperation of other social workers of the district along with Sushri Nirmila Devi Kaloria during the Corona period.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan released the film “Garlic Mandsaur” produced for the branding of garlic grown in Mandsaur on the basis of “One District-One Product” under Atma-nirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also released short films Mandsaur Geet and Mandsaur Darshan produced for the promotion of archaeological and tourist places in the district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has benefitted 25 persons under Mukhyamantri Covid 19 Anukampa Niyukti Yojana and 33 children under Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Seva Yojna. With public cooperation and public participation, the disbursal of Rs. 2 thousand per month to 125 children was also started.
