Under the guidance of Sri Madan Mohan Panda, Chairman, DAV Public Schools, DSBM has been giving constant support and helping to MAN since its inception in august 2008 and encouraging differntly abled children to stand in the society.
Sri Madan Mohan Panda, Chairman, DAV Public Schools -cum- Trustee, MAN Trust said, “We are all aware that autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates and makes sense of the world around them. It is a spectrum condition, meaning that it affects people in different ways, making awareness and diagnosis even more important. Some children have mild autism and some have severe autism and the idea that one education system fits all does not work. That is one of the major issues that needs to be addressed and this elocution contest will help teachers and parents in understanding the hidden talent of autistic children and lead the way in finding new method of teaching”.
In Bhubaneswar, there is a sizable number of autistic children who need special care. To take care of these special children, the Autism Therapy Centre(ATC) under tutelage of Swarnalata Mishra , (Run by MAN) has been working round the year and following holistic approach to bring autstic children to the mainstream.
