Madhya Pradesh witnesses a fall in corona cases

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that corona infection is continuously decreasing in the state. Today, new cases of Corona have come down to 10,000. Today’s new cases in the state are 9,715, the corona growth rate is 1.8% and the positivity rate is 15.8%. The weekly growth rate has also come down to 17.8%. Today, Corona has 7,324 patients who have recovered and gone home. The number of active patients of Corona is 1 lakh 11 thousand 223.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we have to completely break the chain of transition of corona on the one hand by carrying out mass corona campaign in the village and city-by-city with mass public support and strictly following the corona curfew, at the same time, every patient has to be made healthy by identifying and giving medicines.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held discussions with members of the Corona Control Core Group through video conferencing from the residence today and reviewed the condition and arrangements of the corona in the districts of the state. Members of the core group, ministers, officers, ministerial officers in charge of the districts were present in the meeting.

26 thousand 224 patients’ free treatment

Free treatment is being provided to 26 thousand 224 corona patients in the state. Of these, 22 thousand 237 are admitted to government hospitals, 3066 in contracted hospitals, and 921 in allied hospitals under Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Action against 18 for selling fake Remdesivir

The action was taken today against 18 people for selling fake Remdesivir injections. Action has been taken against 10 people in Indore, 2 people in Ujjain, and 6 people in Jabalpur. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that they should be sent to jail after taking strict action against them.

Also pay attention to fungal infection

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that attention should also be paid to fungal infections occurring in some corona patients. Advisory has been issued by the Government of India in this regard, to follow up for the treatment of fungal infection.

Pay full attention to patients at home isolation

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that full care should be taken of the patients at home isolation. A doctor should be advised daily with a free medical kit and talk by phone every day. A 1075 number can be called in case of any problem.

Congratulations to the entire oxygen team

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated the entire team for the better arrangement of oxygen supply in the state. Oxygen is being received daily as per the requirement in the state and is being made available to all the districts. Yesterday, against oxygen quota of 583 MTs of the Government of India in the state, 515 MT Oxygen received. Apart from this, about 100 M.T. Oxygen is available in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to speed up the construction of an oxygen plant and pipeline in the state.

Gwalior district should pay special attention

A district-wise review found that the corona growth rate of Gwalior district is 2.2% and the average positivity rate of 7 days is 24.3%, while the infection is decreasing in other districts in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to pay special attention to Gwalior. Shivpuri and Datia districts were also instructed to be vigilant. The corona growth rate of Shivpuri is 3.1% and the average positivity of 7 days is 25.8%. Datia has a growth rate of 2% and 7-day positivity at 17.8%.
