Jagatsinghpur Pani Panchayat office bearers fumes against water resource department 

Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: As many as 64 Pani Panchayat’s [PP] functioning across Jagatsinghpur district adding 5 distributaries system under Machhagaon meeting hall here taking all PP office bearers, attending office implementation of PP scheme in Jagatsinghpur district. Later a holders were discussed functioning of PP’s in district, expressed dissatisfaction blamed water resource department engineers and officials neglecting committee was formed taking 30 members authorized them to hold discussion with state and district water resource department resolving crisis, informed district PP president Prakash Ray. PP leaders as Rajendra Das, Ravindra Sahoo, Gouranga Das, Kalandi Bastia, Sarada Satapathy were spoke on the occasion describing farmers miseries in Jagatsinghpur district.
