Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur: A decomposed dead body packing in a gunny bag was recovered by Biridi police in Kulakaijanga near Biluakhai river bastion under Biridi area on Tuesday. The deceased body was identified as Niharika Patra a para medical professional working in a private nursing home in Cuttack who had gone missing from her work since Sep 09. Meanwhile the body was identified by deceased family member and sent for postmortem in Cuttack where a missing case had been registered in Madhupatana police station, informed Jagatsinghpur ASP Biswanatha Mishra. Moreover police have started a probe accompanying forensic team coming from Cuttack added ASP Mishra. Report said that Niharika hailing from Bhingarapur village under Bailish Mouza in Cuttack district had been missing from the Nursing Home on Sep 8, family member had lodged an FIR in Madhupatana police station, and acting on the event police had launched a probe.
