IMFA mines organised Swacchata programme at Grujung Village

Bhubaneswar: ‘Swacch Bharat Mission’ that began four years ago has reached an important stage today, where we can proudly say that people from all sections have joined in the mission. Over the couple of weeks leading to October 2 – Gandhi Jayanti – the “Swachhata Hi Seva” movement aims to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the country, which was Mahatma Gandhi’s dream for the nation.

With regard to the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, IMFA mines organised a clean-up drive at Gurujung village which is coming under Kaliapani GP, Jajpur. As part of the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign, a cleanliness drive and awareness programme was conducted to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the locality. During the event 381 Nos. of household sanitation kits were distributed to the villagers. The sanitation kit consists of Bucket, Mug, Broom, Phenyl, Dettol, Bleaching powder & Bath Soap. Nearly 400 villagers were participated in the event.

N C Dhir, Gen. Sec., SRCKMS was invited as chief guest. He said that, this kind of awareness programme in the locality is highly appreciable and the initiation which has taken by IMFA mines is worth a lot. The program was concluded in presence of Kalpana Jena, Sarpanch, Sangita Pradhan, Samiti Savya, Ashish Jena- local youth leader and employees of IMFA mines Lalatendu Mohapatra, GM- Mines manager- Mahagiri Mines, Subasish Pattnaik- Sr Manager Admin, Girish K Pattnaik Manager- Admin, Prodipto Dey GM- Civil, M Manikandan, Samerendra Swain, Dr. Manisha Mohanty, Bharat Rout, Subrat Jena, Jaiprashad Sahoo, Sushant Rana, Subash Rana, Deepak Maharana. The event was organised by PR & BIPF team Milan R Kar, Ansuman Mahapatra, Sandeep Mishra, Deepak Mohanty, Purna Ch. Mohanta, Hemalata Mohanta headed by Jagan Mohan Mallick ( Sr. Manager, PR).
