Bhopal: Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel held discussions with collectors of Covid-19 infection affected districts of Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore and Bhopal through telephone from Raj Bhavan, Lucknow today. She learned about the status of the second wave of infection and its treatment, control systems and requirements. She also inquired about the health of health workers, officers, frontline workers and their families.
Governor Smt. Patel appreciated the information given by the collectors regarding the Covid infection and control efforts, and directed that the pace of vaccination should be further accelerated so that more people could get vaccinated. She said that work should be done with constant monitoring and planning regarding the availability of Covid beds, oxygen supply and medicines so that the general public can get better treatment facilities. She also asked to give impetus to the efforts for expansion of all the systems.
Governor Smt. Patel stated the need for widespread public awareness regarding prevention measures from Covid. She said that the district administration will also be fully supported by the university. She has also asked the collectors to prepare and submit an action plan in this regard.
