“Poor consumers will be given free ration of three month”- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that infection should be prevented in cities and towns as well as villages of the state. Those who are safe in the villages, be safe and should not go out. Ensure infection control by creating a containment zone where there are more infected patients. In every situation, the chain of transmission has to be broken. Resident associations and voluntary organizations should cooperate so that the arrangements that are falling short are made adequate. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with the collectors through video conference today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan commended the Khandwa, Burhanpur administration’s efforts for infection control as commendable.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all eligible poor consumers of the state will get three months ration free from fair price shops.

Do not break the breath

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that efforts have been made on a war footing to provide adequate oxygen for the infected patients in the state. Remdesivir injections is now regularized. Their fair distribution should be ensured so that the patient’s breath does not break.

Every person must have a test in case of suspicion.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that complete arrangements related to isolation should be ensured in the districts. Those who have a cold, cough, fever, get them checked immediately, keep themselves in isolation till the report of the test comes. Many people move around after giving a sample. This too has to be controlled. This will save the family from getting infected. If the house is small then one should take advantage of the arrangement by visiting the Covid Care Center.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told the collectors that the districts where oxygen plants have been approved, they should start the work of setting up the plant. The initiative of taking oxygen cylinders in some districts is commendable. Local arrangements should also be ensured by the collector.

India and Madhya Pradesh are our mother

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that till April 30, do not leave the house, break the chain of infection. India and Madhya Pradesh are the mother of all of us, we have to be ashamed if we won’t respect them. Society, stand together in this crisis. The Chief Minister asked the collectors to use private and government buildings for isolation centers. Collectors also initiate at their level. We will win the war with our combined efforts.

Black marketers will go to imprisonment

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that those involved in black marketing of drugs should be sent to imprisonment under the National Security Act (NSA). The greatest need at this time is to save people’s lives. Those who sell life-saving injections at a higher price will not be spared.

There will be no financial problem

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that financial problems will not be a hindrance in the local arrangements made by the district administration. There will be no shortage of funds from the state government level. It should be the task of every district that at least patients reach the hospital. There should be maximum effort of home isolation system. The initiative taken at Indore is laudable. MPs, MLAs are also fully cooperating. Social organizations strengthen the government’s efforts. We will surely defeat this epidemic together.
