30 Units of blood donated by Veterans Club Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Amidst the feared and frightened environment insinuated by pandemic Corona , and with a pledge and commitment to fight against COVID19, from all angles, Veterans Club Odisha (VCO) has conducted a Blood Donation Camp at Hotel BJ’s BY THE Way in Patia for collecting 30 Units of blood. Institutionally, the camp has been inaugurated by Nitai Gaur Dhal a Veteran of Naval Aviation has univocally called for all to be protected from COVID19 by knowing the characteristics , properties of this deadly virus. To meet our daily works by maintaining social distance and keeping ourselves at home if not required. To make others informed about safety against Corona , we have to first remain safe he told. During this emergency, it is the war against Corona. He expressed his gratitude to Veterans Club Odisha that amidst such a crisis, our veteran brothers have come forward untidily, lion hearted and conducted the blood donation camp for collecting 30 units of blood.

The President of Veterans Club Odisha , Vtn Bidyadhar Nayak has expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the volunteer ex-servicemen blood donors and thanked the Indian Red Cross Society Odisha Branch for their co-operation and the founder of Hotel BJ’s BY THE WAY who whole heartily extended the facilities at his hotel for the noble cause for conduct of the camp.

Amongst all the blood donors Vtn Rabindra umar Sahoo SM, Vtn Bibhu Prasad Swain, Vtn Dinabandhu Sadangi, Vtn Gopinath Mishra, Vtn Janhabi Ballav Pattanaik, Vtn Haraprasad Dora, Vtn Manmath Kumar Singh, Vtn Antaryami Dash, Vtn Bishnu Prasad Dash, Vtn Asish Kumar Jha, Vtn Lokanath Dalai, Vtn Dilip Kumar Sahu, Vtn Sheshadev Mishra, Vtn Sanjay Kumar Hota, Vtn Asish Kumar Raut, Vtn Suresh Gajendra Singh, Vtn Arun Kumar Sahoo & Mrs Sarojini Naya were in the list.
