Bhubaneswar: On 20 Jan 2019 Cmde G Rambabu, Inspecting Officer, Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, visited Sainik School Bhubaneswar on his Annual Inspection which will continue up to 22 Jan 2019. On his visit Capt (IN) Kanchan Mukherjee, Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar extended a warm welcome in the presence of Wg Cdr Amitabh Ranjan, Vice-Principal, Cdr N Santhosh Kumar, Admin. Officer, Senior Master Shri B Pradhan and all staff. Further, the senior cadets extended a spectacular Guard of Honour. During his visit, the Inspecting Officer graced the Annual Day Programme of the Bal Sainik Public School as Chief Guest. He also inaugurated the newly built Swimming Pool for the training of the Sainik School cadets. He also highly appreciated the Art and Science Exhibition and Cultural Programme presented by Sainik School cadets. Cmde G Rambabu laid wreath at War Memorial of the school in the honour of the sixteen martyrs. While interacting with the staff, he discussed the issues on all-round development of the cadets. He also assured that the Board of Governors, Sainik Schools Society is working for the possible help and assistance admissible to the Sainik School staff. It is expected that the visit of the Inspecting Officer will be more fruitful to the school in forthcoming days.
