Bhubaneswar: Van Mahotshav Week-2017 was jointly celebrated by EVER GREEN FORUM, SALAAM JEEVAN and GYAN DEEP FOUNDATION at Vivekananda Sikshyakendra, Salia Sahi, Bhubaneswar. Dr Ashutosh Debata, Director, Centre for Environmental Studies inaugurated this programme as chief guest. In his speech, he gave importance environment protection, water conservation, energy conservation and no use of polythene in the daily life of human being. Forum founder and National Youth Award winner Er Prakash Jena presided this meeting. Among others, Mr Pravat Mohan Das, Programme officer, Centre for Environmental Studies, Social Worker Mr Govind Ballav Dalai, Salaam Jeevan Director Mr Sambit Nanda, Mr Abhijit Dixit joined as guests of honour. Founder of Salaam Jeevan Md Imran Ali gave welcome address and founder of Gyan Deep Foundation Mr Ratnakar Mohanty gave vote of thanks. At the end of programme, tree plantation programme was held by hon’ble guests. Among others, forum secretary Mr Sachidananda Sahu, headmaster of the school Sk Asik Ali, Mr Sagar Behera, Mr Satyabrata Jena, Mr Manoranjan Nayak, Mr Partha Sarathi Patnaik cooperated for the successful of this event.
