New Delhi: Members from more than 40 odia organization led by Sangram Dhar met both Deputy Commissioner of police, South Delhi Mr Ishwar Singh and ACP Crime Branch Mr Kulbhusan Yadav to get speedy & fair justice for the suspicious death of Shri Udit Kumar Pradhan. They submitted a memorandum and get assurance for the same .The team also met Mr Gagan SHO of Vasant Kunj North where the FIR has been lodged to get further updates. 
Late Shri Udit Pradhan, a 28 year young odia guy from Bonai, Sundargarh, after completion of his MBBS degree from Hong Kong had come to Delhi for preparation of MCI (Medical Council of India). He was staying in a 2 bedroom rented flat in Kishangarh near Vasantkunj, where the other room was occupied by a northeast guy. On 2nd June, 2017 he asked for Rs.20, 000/- to his parents to purchase a mobile. After receiving money, his parents did not receive any call from Udit consequently for three days. His parents were worried by not receiving any calls from their son & requested one of their relatives to visit son’s rented house in Kishangarh. The relative visited the house & came to know that Udit was dead since last three days.
As per post-mortem report, there is neither internal nor external harm in the body. So the Police is ruling out this as suicide case as well; hence they are awaiting the test report of forensic lab to proceed in the investigation.
The prominent organizations participated were Sundar Odisha, IPROCH , Odia Samaj ,Odisha Forum, Odisha Without Border , Delhi Odia students association, Prabasi Odia Paribar , Yogamaya Foundation , Mehraulli odia association, Lado sarai Odia Body, Sampoorna NGO & many.
