Bhubaneswar: Ranpur MLA Surama Padhy unanimously elected as Speaker of Odisha Assembly . She filed her nomination for the post on Wednesday, no other nominations were filed from any other political party.
“I will discharge my responsibilities impartially and uphold the dignity of the chair,” says Surama Padhy after assuming charge as the Speaker of Odisha Assembly.
