PRSI, Bhubaneswar Chapter Celebrates National PR Day

 

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Chapter of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) celebrated National Public Relations (PR) Day on April 21, 2017 in association with Institute of Media Studies at Bhubaneswar. In line with the theme for this year’s celebration was, ‘Salutations to Indian Armed Forces’, Lt. Col. (Retd.) Ashit Mahapatra presented a very informative talk on Indian Armed Forces and their dedication and sacrifices to protect the Nation. Members of PRSI Bhubaneswar Chapter, students and academicians in the field of PR attended the function.
In his address the Guest Speaker Lt. Col. (Retd) Mahapatra said, “Indian Armed Forces are not only guarding the Country from external as well as internal enemies but also helping the countrymen during natural disasters. We should all know more about our Armed Forces”.
Director of Institute of Media Studies, Prof. Upendra Padhi welcomed the Guest Speaker and participants of the programme. PRSI Bhubaneswar Chapter chairperson Mr. Amar Jyoti Mahapatra presided over the Programme.
Mr. Barada Prasanna Das, Jt. Secretary of PRSI Bhubaneswar Chapter and DIPRO, Bhubaneswar presented the vote of thanks.
Since 1986, Public Relations Professionals across India celebrate April 21 as National PR Day and rededicate themselves to the cause of public relations and professional excellence.
