Bhubaneswarr: Agriculture & property of Rs 2765 cr damaged in Odisha due to Cyclone Titli and consequent floods. This is informed by the Special Relief Commissioner Bishnupada Sethi.
He said that 60.11 lakh people in 8125 villages under 128 blocks of 17 districts affected; 2.6 Lakh hectare crop damaged; 56,930 houses destroyed, 34,951 domestic animals killed . He informed that a total of 8,125 villages under 128 blocks of 17 districts have been affected by the natural calamity. In Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada districts, 56,930 houses have been damaged. Of them, 20,422 houses were completely damaged whereas 36, 508 houses have been partially damaged.
