Governor Raghubar Das announced at the first session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly that all Anganwadis will be upgraded to Saksham Anganwadis. This initiative aims to ensure foundational literacy and numeracy for every child in pre-primary and primary school by 2030. Anganwadi workers will be trained as Academic Resource Persons (ARPs) to provide preschool teaching.
