Odisha: Student’s congress hosts anti CAA protest in Jagatsinghpur

Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: The district congress students unit on Saturday staged demonstration and protest meeting opposing amended CAA and ensuing implementation of NRC in country. The irate anti CAA student protestors later burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Saha, they demanded withdrawal of CAA in country. District student’s congress president Kumar Pritam Parija led the agitation accompanying hundreds of party sympathizers, those converged at Municipality Chhak here held a protest meeting voicing BJP led union government’s anti-secular stance. The protestors criticized union government said by implementing many unethical things Modi and Saha duo have been putting common men trouble, congress will not tolerate, for the interest of people party will go to streets. Among others Ex municipality chairman Biplab Choudhury, Prasanta Mallick, Krushna Chandra Pradhan, Abhesek Bal, Saroj Lemka, Sandip Mohanty, Sanjib Das and smruti Ranjan Jena participated.
