Bhubaneswar: The State Government today inked two vital partnerships with Akshara Foundation and Kusuma Foundation that will bring about rapid improvement in quality of education at elementary and secondary level.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik presided over MoU signing with Akshara Foundation, Bengaluru and Kusuma Foundation, Norway.
While ensuring Education For All, providing quality education to every child in every part of the state has been my major concern. Be it the cities and towns or the most remote rural pocket, the learning levels of children should be of top standard.
With this very objective, we are going to launch joint initiatives for bringing improvement in quality of teaching, student learning in Government schools under Odisha Learning Project. Our students in KBK and interiors of Balangir and Raygada districts will gain much needed proficiency in an important subject like mathematics as well as be prepared for HSC exams. The initiatives will be expanded to other districts from next year. Last year, our Government had launched two initiatives Ujjwal and Utkarsh for improving learning levels of children in primary and secondary education respectively.
The new initiatives are a classic illustration of the three Ts – Teamwork, Transparency and Technology brought together to make systemic changes and give shape to the educated, learned and capable future of our state.
