Odisha Govt proposed to raise mangrove, casuarina plantation in around 109 and 4,000 Ha of land, respectively, in the coastal belt

Bhubaneswar: State Government has proposed to raise mangrove and casuarina plantation in around 109 and 4,000 Ha of land, respectively, in the coastal belt with an aim to erect a strong, natural barrier against the strong winds during cyclones.
