Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today directs Khurda collector to conduct probe and take action Forest land encroachment by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS).
On this regards Forest & Environment deptt directs Khurda collector to conduct probe and take action. Petitioner Subash Mohapatra had alleged that these institutes have created an environmental imbalance in Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar by constructing buildings, school and hospital violating environmental laws and water & air acts.
Mohapatra had sought the intervention of the department in the matter pertaining to the environmental threat created by these three institutions in Chandrasekharpur area.
