Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik written letters to all chief ministers seeking cooperation on one-third reservation for women in Assemblies and Parliament. He said that he has already written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji following the passage of unanimous resolution in #Odisha Assembly.
In the letter, he wrote that empowerment of women is empowerment of the Nation. #Odisha reserves 50% seats in Panchayats and ULBs for women and one third reservation in highest decision making bodies will truly empower half of the population.
