Kendrapara: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik visits Baladevjew temple in Kendrapara. CM Patnaik announces Rs 2crore for development works including restoration of Jhulan Mandap, construction of Kalyan Mandap, public toilet among others.
This is Patnaik’s first visit to Kendrapada district after the general elections. The visit of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo assumed significance keeping in view the coming poll to the Patkura Assembly constituency necessitated due to the demise of BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agrawalla during the election process in April.
The BJD has fielded Agrawalla’s widow Sabitri Agrawalla for the Patkura poll against Bijay Mohapatra of the BJP. Sabitri Agrawalla was present during the Chief Minister’s visit to the Baladevjew Temple.
