Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik reviews Covid19 situation; asks officials to prioritize fire safety & medical oxygen facilities in hospitals, scale up testing & tracking in areas reporting a higher number of cases; stresses on smooth vaccination drive across State.
Reviewing the COVID19 situation in the State, CM Naveen Patnaik has suggested 7-point advice on Covid management. CM asked the officials to ensure fire safety & availability of medical oxygen at the District Hospitals through 24 hour monitoring.
CM advised strengthening testing, tracing & containment in areas with higher caseload & take feedback from doctors working at ICUs. CM said, vaccination is key to save lives which should be executed seamlessly & advised strict action against private hospitals charging higher.
CM also advised that helplines should be made more active at Covid hospitals and provide regular information to the patient’s family. CM also advised that help should be provided to indigent and poor people through Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
