Bhubaneswar: HDFC (Housing Development Financial Corporation) Bank Limited is an Indian banking and financial services company inaugurated the HDFC Bank House by the chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik by the presence of Dr. Aditya Puri , Managing Director , HDFC Bank. HDFC Bank provides a number of products and services including wholesale banking, retail banking, treasury, auto loans, two wheeler loans, personal loans, loans against property and credit cards. The latest entry in the league is ‘Project AI’, under which HDFC Bank, over the next few weeks, would deploy robots at select bank branches. These robots will offer options such as cash withdrawal or deposit, forex, fixed deposits and demat services displaying on a screen to customers.
Chief Minister , Shri Naveen Patnaik expressed “i am glad to inaugurate the BPO, skill development & training centre of HDFC bank in BBSR. I Thank HDFC Bank with heart for this initiative. As we know BBSR is a hub as one of the top investment friendly city to do business in India. We have taken our skill development to a big way & established the skill development authority. I hope that this skill development training centre will provide greater employment opportunity to the youth. The state government will provide whole necessary support to the bankj in this regard.”
Aditya Prasad Padhi , the Chief Secretary expressed regarding the inauguration of the new Bank house “It is indeed of the privilege to be here to witness the launching of HDFC Bank, Business Process outsourcing, which is the first profits by any bank within the stateThe central will provide employment to 200 local people and hopefully it will grow to 70 jobs within few years. It is very honour that the project has come up in Infocity-1 which is actually the hub of the IT industry in our State. To provide more employment & generation and also provide skill development training for our youth. 2/3rd of our Panchayat are stil unbanked and dob hope HDFC bank & all other banks will take all steps to see that Odisha is fully covered by the Banking networks.”
Dr. Aditya Puri says “I am extremely happy that our new Bank House has been set up in Chandrasekharpur and it’s a privilege that our honourable Chief Minister inaugurated. In that point we are very proud that we have helped 3.3 lakhs household to achieve sustainability. I must take this opportunity to say that the Government of Odisha have been most cooperative & has helped us sustainability in achieving this. ´
