Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik doubles one-time incentive for Anganwadi workers. Those retiring from service will now get Rs 40,000 instead of Rs 20000 as retirement benefits.
Besides, Mini Anganwadi workers & Anganwadi assistants will now get double of Rs 15000 and Rs 10000 respectively and the package will be effective retrospectively from January 1, 2019. Over 1.30 lakh Anganwadi workers will be benefited from the move.
