Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur: The poll contesting parties as BJP, BJD and Congress hit streets presenting road shows and public meetings on Friday in different locations in Jagatsinghpur district, party star campaigners asked people to cast vote in fabour of their supported parties.
BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik addressed a public meeting in Goda college ground under Balikuda- Erasama constituency accompanying party’s MP candidate Rajashree Mallick and MLA candidate Raghunandan Das, while speaking party sympathizers Naveen accused BJP led union government neglecting Odisha during natural calamities. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never visited during any calamity struck Odisha even he had paid a visit to other states affecting during calamities, it is his dillydallying attitude towards Odisha.
On turn union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan too attended an election campaigning meeting in Balikuda- Erasama constituency at Borekina on Friday, he lambasted Naveen a dependent of non Odia officers those are controlling state government since 19 years. Pradhan appealed voters to cast vote in favour of BJP candidate Damodar Rout in assembly polls.
Meanwhile Congress star campaigner Gulam Nabi Azad visited Jagatsinghpur assembly constituency on Friday held two road shows accompanying party candidate Chiranjib Biswal, MP Ranjib Biswal and congress leader Sura Routray. Speaking at road site meetings congress central leader Azad blamed BJP government and prime minister Modi has did injustice with people in last 5 years saying Achha din Ayenge slogans, on reality he has pushed countrymen to bad days during his tenure. Azad appealed voters to cast vote in fabour of congress candidate Chiranjib Biswal in elections.
