Bhubaneswar: Bijepur Assembly bypoll to be held on October 21. This was announced by the by Election Commission of India (ECI) Sunil Arora today. Addressing a press conference Arora announced the dates.
While a notification regarding the same will be issued on September 23, counting of votes will be held on October 24.

Last date of Nominations: 4 October
Scrutiny of Nominations: 5 October
Withdrawal of Nominations: 7 October
Counting : 24 October
