Bhubaneswar: The ATL Community Day was observed on the eve of the birthday ceremony of Dr.B.R Ambedkar at DAV Unit VIII, Bhubaneswar. On this occasion various workshops were organised in the school premises in which 200 students from different schools of Bhubaneswar had participated. Different projects and models were displayed where students experimented with, learnt, developed and conceptualized different scientific ideas and exhibited their skills and talents in form of various relevant projects. Sri Madan Mohan Panda, Chairman, School Managing Committee was the Chief Guest of the programme. Dr. Pramod Mohapatra, eminent popular science writer and Dr. Manas Ranjan Senapati, eminent educationist and NITI Aayog Mentor for Atal Tinkering Lab of DAV Unit VIII graced the occasion and enlightened the students about the various scientific concepts and usefulness of science in day to day life. Dr.Bhagyabati Nayak,the former Principal, Dr. Mamata Banerjee, Principal In Charge were also present on this occasion. Smt Suryakanti Jema proposed Vote of Thanks.
