#MughalGardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan to be opened for public from Feb 5

New Delhi: The Mughal Gardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be opened for general public from Wednesday. President Ram Nath Kovind will open the annual Udyanotsav of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday.

The gardens will remain open till 8th of next month and visitors can visit between 10:00 AM to to 4:00 PM. The gardens will be closed for visitors on Mondays, on account of maintenance.

The main attraction of this year’s Udyanotsav, beside Tulips and Exotic flowers, are bulbous flowerings. Around 10 thousand Tulips are specially cultivated in Mughal Gardens and they are in vivid colours of red, white, orange and yellow.

Flower Carpets in magnificent designs will also be on display in the Central Lawns revealing the skill and craft of the gardeners of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
