New Delhi : Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said, evil forces will not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs to hijack the atmosphere of peace and prosperity in Jammu-Kashmir through terrorism and violence.
Addressing various programmes during foundation stone laying/inauguration of different development projects in Budgam, Jammu-Kashmir today, Naqvi said that perpetrators of killings of innocent people will be eliminated.
Naqvi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has replaced “Parikrama Politics” with “Perfect Performance”. It has ensured that Jammu- Kashmir, Ladakh have also been moving forward on the path of prosperity by eradicating the disease of terrorism and separatism.
The Minister said that the Government has ended “Caucus of Corruption” from the power corridors of Delhi and now the Government has made Jammu-Kashmir also free from “Corruption of Clan”. Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh have been moving forward on the path of inclusive development by demolishing the “web of dynasty”. After several decades, people of Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh have become an equal partner of transparent democratic and development process.
He said, after abolition of the Article 370, rights of the people of Jammu-Kashmir and Leh-Kargil regarding trade, agriculture, employment, culture, land and property etc have been provided absolute Constitutional protection and safe-guard.
Naqvi stated that Zojila Tunnel will provide all weather connectivity between Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. Sindhu Central University is being established with a cost of about Rs 750 crore in Ladakh and the University will ensure quality higher education and intellectual growth in the region.
Naqvi said, the Government is working with commitment to inclusive development of Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh. People of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh have been benefitted immensely from welfare schemes of the Government such as “Ayushman Bharat”, “Jan Dhan Yojana”, “Ujjawala Yojana”, “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, “Mudra Yojana”, schemes providing houses and electricity.
During his visit to Budgam, Naqvi inaugurated T20 Tourist Accommodation and parking area at Doodhpathri, interacted with Panchayat representatives, people’s representatives, delegations of prominent people from education, health, social and cultural fields at Tenger. Interacted with people from Gujjar-Bakarwal community. He visited apple and walnut orchards in Yugbug and interacted with farmers and local residents, laid foundation stone of District Veterinary Hospital at Budgam and met with senior administrative officials to review various development projects. He also distributed sanction letters and cheques to beneficiaries of different welfare schemes.
