Odisha ration card holders will once again receive wheat alongside their rice quota, as informed by Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra on Saturday. The state government has requested the Centre to allocate wheat for 20% of the rice quota to meet the demand. Previously, wheat distribution was halted when the state opted for more rice, but with increased demand, wheat will be reintroduced.
